CLOTHING DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION
TVB Garments is an independent clothing development and production company based in the Netherlands. We work with specialised manufacturing partners to develop and produce custom hoodies and sweatshirts for brands and businesses.
A hoodie or sweatshirt project can start with an idea, sketch, reference images, reference garment, existing sample, pattern or tech pack. A completed tech pack is not always required; we help structure fit, pattern development, measurements, construction, hood or neckline development, pockets, cuffs, waistband, fabric, trims and sampling towards bulk production.
FIT & SILHOUETTE
Body width, shoulder width, garment length, sleeve shape and overall proportions influence the final fit. Development can range from cleaner regular fits to relaxed and oversized silhouettes depending on the project.
HOOD & NECKLINE
Hood shape, hood volume, neckline construction, overlap and finishing can be developed according to the design, rather than following one standard hoodie construction.
POCKETS & CONSTRUCTION
Kangaroo pockets, side pockets, seams, panels and other construction details can be developed where relevant to the intended design.
CUFFS & WAISTBAND
Cuff and waistband dimensions, rib qualities, stretch and recovery should work with the garment fit, fabric and intended appearance.
Sample development can be used to evaluate overall fit, proportions, hood shape, neckline, shoulder position, sleeve shape, garment length, pocket placement, cuffs, waistband, fabric behaviour, construction and finishing. Feedback can be used to refine the garment before bulk production.
Brand labels, care labels, hangtags, embroidery, relevant logo applications, packaging and other garment finishing details can be incorporated where applicable.
Fabric choice affects appearance, weight, structure, hand feel, comfort, warmth, drape, stretch, durability and final fit. French terry, brushed or unbrushed sweat fabrics, cotton-based qualities, cotton blends and other suitable knitted fabrics can be explored depending on the design, quantity, performance requirements and project. Suitable options are considered for each project; availability is not assumed.
