TVB Garments is an independent clothing development and production company based in the Netherlands. We work with specialised manufacturing partners to develop and produce custom polos for brands and businesses.
A polo project can start with an idea, sketch, reference images, a reference garment, existing sample, pattern or tech pack. A completed tech pack is not always required; we help structure the work towards a production-ready polo.
FIT & SILHOUETTE
Body width, shoulder width, sleeve shape, sleeve length, garment length, collar proportions and fabric behaviour all influence the final fit. Development can range from cleaner regular silhouettes to more relaxed fits, depending on the brief.
PATTERN & CONSTRUCTION
Polo pattern development brings together measurements, sizing, collar and placket proportions, sleeve construction, hem details and finishing into a clear technical direction.
FABRIC SELECTION
Suitable knitted qualities, including piqué, jersey and other suitable knitted fabrics, can be selected depending on the desired appearance, structure, hand feel, comfort, performance requirements, quantity and project.
Polo sampling lets you evaluate overall fit, proportions, collar, neckline, placket, buttons or closure, sleeve shape, fabric behaviour, construction and finishing before bulk production. Feedback can be used to refine the product as part of the wider clothing sample development process.
Relevant branding and finishing can be incorporated into the production process, including brand labels, care labels, hangtags, packaging and garment finishing details where applicable.
The collar and front opening strongly influence the character and quality of a polo shirt. Collar shape, proportions and construction, placket length and width, button placement and number of buttons, zip openings where appropriate, cuffs, side slits and clean finishing are developed according to the intended design — not one fixed standard.
